The purpose of this site is primarily nostalgic. Over the years I have enjoyed developing many websites and, yes, I have a problem with “letting go” and so… my Portfolio.
CANWEBPROMOTIONS was a service I created to better serve my clients. With this service I as able to provide Optimized Assisted WordPress hosting plans.
After switching to WordPress Hosting with my new service, CanWebPromotions, I wanted to continue limited access to all my previous work — most of which are not wordpress.
While this WordPress site is based on the Imagely/Simplicity Theme, the PORTFOLIO page is carried over from my previous site and is still in it’s original (html) format.
CARDTABLES is a Flash program that I wrote some years ago. The first version of this program was written for one of my sons who was struggling with his timestables. At that time (1980s) it was a very simple program written in Commodore Basic. The program progressed through a few versions as my programming skills improved, culminating in this Flash version–but of course, Adobe Flash was discontinued and that was the end of that…so I thought. I resurrected this program when I recently learned about Ruffle… an open source Flash Player emulator.
